Corona Virus: This is how you and your family can overcome the scare

I saw Cardi B’s video; the remix of it actually, which has gone viral. Which is not surprising though, but still indisputably amusing *smirks*.

I remain forever floored by how humanity is able to turn so serious a tragedy into a comic relief – we are amazing honestly!

If you have not seen the video or the numerous remixes (which I won’t believe you haven’t), I am sure if you hop onto IG, you will find it or a variation of it.

As the world is still responding to the effects of the Corona Virus; thankfully China is coming out of it but for other countries especially Nigeria, who is just awakening to the realities that Corona virus is no respecter of our black skin, needless to say, our harsh weather conditions, it’s really not surprising the panic on the streets. *all thanks but no thanks to the slow response of our leaders who failed to take lessons from other countries* But you need to calm down.

Yeah, I said it. Before you worry yourself to death or die from Chloroquine poisoning when the virus did not even touch you.

While you adhere to all sanitary instructions and do your best to keep you and your loved ones’ safe do not allow the scare cause you to lose your head. Besides, see this as the best time to put Psalm 91 and other scriptures to the test – weigh the Word of God and let’s see if it will be wanting?

All these years you have been quoting scripture up and dan, so much so that your peers and church people will be hailing you Pastor and future Pst Mrs! Now the time has come for you to anchor yourself and those you love on those scriptures; *what? Or you never believed what you were reciting, they were just words to you?* ” this is what the Word of God says, therefore it answers in my life!”

…thousand shall fall at thy side, ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come near thee…thou shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor the arrow that flieth by day; or for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.”

Psalm 91

Latch onto that. While you are reciting Psalm 91 I want you to key on to these scriptures as well:

Psalm 27:1 – The lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid.

Psalm 34:19 – Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones not one of them is broken.

11Sam 22:2 – The lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer.

Psalm 46:1b – God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble.

This is the perfect opportunity to build your trust in God and his word; “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runneth into it and is safe.” – Proverbs 18:10. Also, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void” – Isaiah 55:11.

It is time to put the word of God to the test and finally, know God for yourself. Are you ready to do this?
