Baking soda has exfoliating properties, and when combined with lemon juice, it helps lighten dark patches.
Cut the lemon into half, sprinkle baking soda into it, and rub against your elbows. Leave for a few minutes and then wash off.
Aloe Vera and milk
Aloe vera gel combined with the lactic acid in milk makes the skin radiant.
Mix Aloe Vera gel and milk. Rub the mixture on your dark elbows, allow to sit for a few minutes before rinsing off.
Potato
Potatoes help soften and nourish dry skin. You can either grate the potato and apply it to your skin or just peel and rub the slices unto your skin.
Coconut oil
Coconut oil is a good moisturizer. It’s Vitamin E properties help keep the skin hydrated. Massage coconut oil into the patch of dark skin for as long as necessary.
Honey
Honey works well with milk, aloe vera, and lemons. Mix it all and apply on dark elbows.
Sugar and olive oil
Massage this mixture into your skin until you see the desired results.
Oatmeal scrub
Apply the mixture of lemon juice, oatmeal and salt to your skin. Rinse with warm water.
Almond Oil
Massage oil into your skin daily until you see desired results.
Pumice Stone
Gently scrub the knees and elbows using a pumice stone. Pumice stones help peel off the dead skin cells around the elbows.
