You need to get into what we call, mindful positivity because, challenges are a constant – John 16:33
I know with all that is happening around the world, coupled with our personal issues, it is almost hard to stay positive. Somedays, it’s easier to withdraw into your headspace and let all the things that are going wrong, flood your mind and fill you with fear and worry.
Staying positive should no longer be left to feelings – I don’t feel happy. Rather, it should be a matter of choice. Choose to see good in that bleak situation. Choose to believe that you will be fine, and this phase will blow over. Determine that you will no longer leave it to other people to make you feel good. Decide to do things each day that make you happy. Resolve to practice mindful positivity.
We have put together a few ideas to help you control how you react to situations in ways that will help you remain optimistic.
Control your thoughts
Whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things -Philippians 4:8
Be mindful of what you dwell on. Whenever negative thoughts flit into your mind, try to dispel them with scriptures or find a healthy distraction and indulge. No, don’t look for a quiet place where you can think and think. Get up, get moving, engage in activities. Immerse yourself in work, call a loved one.

Keep a gratitude journal
Things won’t appear so bad if you keep a gratitude journal or a prayer journal; a place where you write down your many answered prayers, plus the random little things that made you smile, and even the major breakthroughs you didn’t see coming.
Going over a gratitude journal is a faith booster, and it will give you the patience to wait for that which has not yet come.

Refuse to spit out negative. Declare the changes you want to see. A closed mouth is a, closed destiny. Sometimes all the motivation you will ever get will have to come from you. People close to you may not truly understand, or they could mean well but say the wrong things. So discipline yourself to speak life to your soul.

Mind your circle
You can’t stay positive if you are telling your problems to the wrong people. If you are narrating your story to a pessimist that would be adding kerosene to your flames. If you share your problems with a friend who has an ego-trip seeing you go through those issues(cue in the job story), babe, you will be sorry about the outcome.
Read your bible
The Bible is always a reminder of God’s promises to you. So when you’re feeling like, your faith is washed out, go back to the master’s blueprint.
Stay positive with a selective playlist
Invest in music that will feed your soul, such as Christian music or music that you know will make you feel good and happy. You don’t want to be listening to heartbreak songs. You will be breaking your own heart by doing that.
Read insightful books
I recommend “Oprah’s What I Know For Sure” if you are going through an identity crisis or purpose fatigue. And for more business-like problems, you can read “You Are a Badass -series” by Jen Sincero.
Always remember, because today is a bad day does not mean it will stay this way forever. Life is in phases babe. You are more than a conqueror, so you will thrive.
